TriMet bus riders got a big surprise when these two furry commuters climbed aboard

PORTLAND, ORE. — Just call them the goats of TriMet.
Or maybe that should be the GOATs of TriMet, as in greatest of all time.
Yes, the morning commute got weird at a TriMet bus stop Tuesday morning.
No kid-ding.
Two loose pygmy goats wandered their way to the eastbound bus stop at Southeast Division Street and 162nd Avenue, then boarded an FX2 bus along with other passengers at about 7:40 a.m.
They didn’t stay aboard for long, with the driver spotting them and reopening the doors, and a passenger shooing them out. Nearly as quickly as they had boarded, they were back on the sidewalk, looking as confused as the passengers on the bus.
TriMet security camera footage from the bus stop captured the scene. It turns out police had already been notified about the wayward goats, and when word made its way to TriMet, a security analyst checked the footage from the FX2 bus stop.
The transportation agency shared the video Wednesday on social media.

It’s unclear what happened to the goats after their brief TriMet adventure. Portland Police searched for them in the surrounding area but did not find them, TriMet said.
A TriMet spokesperson said the agency hopes the goats were reunited with their owners.
