NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Proposals are invited by the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, a joint powers authority, herein referred to as SJRRC, for Pedestrian Shelters for the Valley Rail Program, all in strict conformance with the “Request for Proposals (RFP) for Pedestrian Shelters for the Valley Rail Program”, RFP No. 25-R-02-00 dated August 23, 2024 (hereinafter, including any supplements, amendment, modification, or addendums, referred to as RFP), said RFP being on file in the offices of SJRRC at 949 E. Channel Street, Stockton, California 95202.
Copies of the RFP may be obtained at the offices of SJRRC – Procurement and Contracts Department or an electronic copy can be downloaded from http://www.sjrrc.com/Contract-Opportunities at no charge. SJRRC uses PlanetBids™, a fully automated web-based vendor portal and bid management system. Whether you are a new vendor with SJRRC or an existing vendor, you must register your firm in order to receive contracting notifications, to view contracting opportunities, and to obtain copy of open solicitations. Prospective proposers are solely responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate information.
Proposals must be received on or before 2:00 P.M. Pacific on September 26, 2024. Proposals must be submitted online through the vendor portal. Proposals must be received on or before the due date and time. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after Proposal due date.
Pre-Proposal Conference: A pre-proposal conference is not scheduled for this RFP.
The Contract to be entered into pursuant to this NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS may be subject to a financial assistance Contract between SJRRC and the United States Department of Transportation (DOT). If this RFP is subject to Federal financial assistance, and for any reason the Federal financial assistance is withdrawn or modified in any way then and in such event SJRRC may, in its sole discretion, withdraw this NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS and/or terminate any Contract entered into in accordance with this RFP.
The successful Proposer, and each of his/her/its subconsultants, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
All Proposers are required to read and completely familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of the RFP, and to submit all necessary documents as required of Proposer as specified in this RFP.
SJRRC reserves the right to postpone the opening of Proposals, accept or reject any and all Proposals and to waive any informality in any Proposal, all as SJRRC deems to be in its own best interests.
This RFP and any material submitted by a proposer in response to this RFP and opened by SJRRC are subject to public inspection under the California Public Records Act (Government Code § 6250 et seq.). Refer to Section 7 of this RFP for further details.
