Foothill Transit is issuing this Request for Proposals No. 21-004 (RFP) seeking Proposals from qualified firms or individuals to assist Foothill Transit in undertaking a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) to provide greater system operational efficiency, regional connectivity, and meet unmet transportation needs. The COA shall be based on current travel patterns, utilizing but not limited to cell phone data, and include a phasing and funding plan. Foothill Transit is a public transit agency located in Los Angeles County that operates local and express bus routes in the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. The mission of Foothill Transit is to be the premier public transit provider committed to safety, courtesy, quality, responsiveness, efficiency and innovation. Foothill Transit’s last COA was conducted in 2014.
An optional pre-proposal conference, to be held on Zoom, is scheduled at 1:30 p.m., PDT on October 22, 2020. Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m., PST on December 2, 2020.
