#806105 Environmental Engineering and Planning Services

CapMetro needs NEPA, THC, TCEQ, FTA and other compliant environmental engineering services in in support of real estate matters, including, but not limited to, real property acquisition, licensing and leasing, capital projects, facilities management, real estate development, and railroad right-of-way matters, within the next five years. The Contractor will be expected to respond to information and clarification requests from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) the Texas Historical Commission (THC) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as the needs arises.

CapMetro also requests services to support Agency sustainability and environmental performance goals as outlined in the CapMetro Sustainability Vision Plan. Services may include environmental management system support and auditing, waste minimization and pollution prevention, and ecological services and green infrastructure planning.

The Contractor’s work process and product shall conform to and comply with any and all State, Federal and Local Jurisdictional procedures, ordinances and regulations including, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Texas Historical Commission (THC) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The Contractor time of performance and quality of work product will be the essence of this contract. The below list identifies services that CapMetro is considering via this contract. It is not expected that each firm will be able to respond to each request. We hope to develop consultant partnerships with firms that have expertise in some, or all of the listed services (see PlanetBids posting).
