OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as our Director of Facilities. This executive-level position oversees the planning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of OmniRide’s facilities, passenger amenities, bus shelters, and infrastructure assets.

In this role, you will lead capital improvement projects, develop asset management and State of Good Repair strategies, oversee facility operations and maintenance programs, and provide oversight of the outsourced facility maintenance contract with Keolis Transit Services to ensure high-quality service delivery, contract compliance, and performance standards. You will also manage operating and capital budgets, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, administer facility and construction contracts, lead procurement efforts, and mentor a high-performing team focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• Significant experience in facilities management, capital project management, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and personnel leadership
• Knowledge of asset management systems (CMMS), procurement processes, and regulatory compliance requirements

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, or PMP
• Experience managing capital construction projects and public-sector contracts

Salary Range:
$138,845 – $187,441 annually, commensurate with experience, plus attractive benefits. This position is Hybrid office/telework after an initial training period, and the office location is Manassas, VA.
