Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Chief of Capital Services plays a pivotal role in designing and executing the strategic direction of UTA’s Capital Services objectives.
As the Chief Capital Services Officer you will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing capital development, assets, and construction, environmental compliance, real property assets, transit oriented development (TOD), and sustainability functions for the agency.
- Building networks and relationships among UTA stakeholders to develop short- and long-range capital programs designed to improve transit service, and build required infrastructure and facilities.
- Developing strategic plans and initiatives for TOD projects.
- Fostering positive policies relating to land use and environmental stewardship.
- Coordinating allocation of agency resources among capital and real property development projects.
- Providing leadership to the Capital Services workforce by creating alignment with organizational goals/objectives and promoting a productive work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, Business Administration or a related field, Master’s degree in one of the above fields or related field preferred (e.g., MBA).
EXPERIENCE:
Eight years’ experience in a leadership role. Five years’ experience managing, developing, and directing strategic capital or property development projects to include sustainability initiatives, including three years of senior level management experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement complex business strategies through influence, communication, and coordination within and outside of formal authority channels to include building and maintaining relationships with community and government stakeholders. Must possess strong negotiation, verbal and written, presentation and facilitation skills.

As an Executive-level administrative employee, your Total Rewards Benefits Package will include:

Pay Range: $176,200.00 or more depending on experience.
