2. MetroLink Mechanic (Electromechanic)

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Start at $33.95/hr ($35.69/hr after 1,000 hrs) | Tool Allowance & Overtime

Take control of your career and finances! Say goodbye to unpredictable flat rates and bad assignments while working on advanced light rail transit systems.
Perform skilled troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment on Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs).
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on propulsion systems, printed circuit boards, amplifiers, static converters, motors, air brakes, and HVAC systems.
Operate diagnostic test equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, wheel truing machines, cranes) to solve complex equipment malfunctions.
Interpret technical publications, blueprints, source code manuals, and wiring/circuit diagrams.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic theory; ability to pass technical exams; and ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions (training provided) and required safety certifications.
