OmniRide, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Facility Project Manager to oversee its Bus Shelter Program and related passenger amenity infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing the planning, installation, maintenance, rehabilitation, replacement, and removal of bus shelters, bus stops, benches, and related facilities. The role also manages project budgets, procurements, vendor relationships, and facility improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage PRTC's Bus Shelter Program in compliance with ADA requirements, local standards, state regulations, and industry best practices.
- Oversee shelter and bus stop installation, maintenance, repairs, relocations, and improvements and maintain and verify inventories and condition assessments for shelters and benches.
- Coordinate with local governments, VDOT, property owners, developers, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Develop scopes of work, technical specifications, cost estimates, procurement documents, and project budgets.
- Manage contracts, procurements, and vendor performance, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Support capital planning, grant reporting, annual budgeting, and the Six-Year Facility State of Good Repair Plan.
Qualifications: Combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, construction management, or related field. In addition, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential, and experience with asset management software and GIS applications are preferred.
Salary Range: $76,494 – $99,404 annually, commensurate with experience, plus attractive benefits. This position is primarily in office with the option for occasional telework, and the home office location is Manassas, VA.
