Level I: $19.93 - $24.87/hour; $41,454.40 - $51,729.60/year
Level II: $24.21 - $30.24/hour; $50,356.80 - $62,899.20/year
Placer County Transit (PCT) provides a safe and direct means of transportation service for western Placer County residents and visitors. PCT is committed to providing comprehensive and reliable transit service to its passengers. We are accepting applications for permanent full-time, permanent part-time, and temporary/extra-help assignments at all levels.
As a Bus Driver, your duties will be to operate and perform routine maintenance on a public transit vehicle in passenger service; to operate a public transit vehicle safely and legally; and to practice principles of good customer service. This classification offers positions at the entry and journey levels, with room for advancement.

Minimum Qualifications
Level I Experience: None required, we will train you!
Level II Experience: One year of responsible paid driving experience involving the carrying of passengers or six months of training as a Bus Driver I in a Placer County transit system, possession of a valid Class A or B driver's license or the equivalent with passenger endorsements and no air brake restrictions, and possession of a Verification of Transit Training (VTT) certificate issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles or the equivalent.
