Minimum Qualification:
High school diploma or GED. Five years of experience in the inspection, repair and maintenance of train control and/or traction power electrical and electronic equipment, to include resolution or operational problems and supervisory experience are required. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified.
Recruitment Notes:
This position reports to the DTPW General Superintendent (Rail Maintenance). The position will supervise the administrative work in the maintenance of Train Control and Traction Power Equipment in a rail transportation system. The incumbent will manage through subordinate supervisors the diagnosis, testing, inspection, installation, repair and maintenance of Automatic Train Control and Traction Power equipment. The duties including using independent judgment in the planning, development and implementation of Train Control and Traction Power maintenance programs and activities.
