The Contractor shall provide up to one hundred and thirty-nine (139) transit quality paratransit vehicles manufactured on a cutaway chassis with provisions for stand-up entry, seating for adult ambulatory passengers and wheelchair positions along with the wheelchair lifts and tie downs. All body, floor and roof joints must be tightly sealed to eliminate drafts and water leaks. The vehicles shall be aesthetically pleasing in design with attention to workmanship and detail. The vehicles furnished to these specifications must meet or exceed all requirements herein. School buses, modified school buses, vans, or modified vans are not acceptable.
A Pre-proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 AM, January 21, 2020, in the Administration Board Room at 800 W. Myrtle, San Antonio, Texas 78212.
Proposals must be submitted on or before 4:45 PM CDT March 6, 2020.
