Notice is hereby given that the Trumbull County Transit Board is requesting proposals for: Purchased Transportation Services Detailed specifications are available at the Office of The Trumbull County Commissioners, 160 High Street N.W., Warren, Ohio 44481. A request may also be made by emailing to: [email protected]. All bids must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in this Bid documentation, and must be received in the offices of the Trumbull County Commissioners on or before March 4, 2019 at 2:30 AM, after which bids will be open and publicly read. In connection with the carrying out of this project, the Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or handicap. The Trumbull County Transit Board has set a DBE goal of ten (10%) percent for the procurement. The Transit Board reserves the right to solicit or to waive a new solicitation, for new bids if sufficient effort has not been made to comply with the DBE goals and requirements. All bidders are certifying that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible Contractors by signing the proposal page. A five ($500.00) hundred dollar bid bond or cashier check is required at the time of bid submission. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Trumbull County Transit Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to re-advertise for proposals and to waive any informality in any proposal and to determine the most responsive proposal by its own criteria, as described within the specification. The Authority further advises prospective bidders that all bids must be filed on the forms provided and that all bids must be clearly marked on the lower left side of the outermost envelope with the words, ATTN: RFP #2019-PTS.

The TCTB requests proposals for the purchase of PURCHASED TRANSPORTATION in accordance with specifications, terms, and conditions enclosed herewith. The bidder should submit Five (5) paper copies. Plus the bidder MUST submit One (1) original of the proposal with all required forms signed and One (1) signed original price proposal and it MUST be received at the Trumbull County Commissioners Office by the date and time set forth above.
