ANNUAL AUDIT OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS


The Norwalk Transit District is seeking proposals from Certified Public Accounting firms to conduct the annual audit of the Norwalk Transit District’s financial statements, the Supplementary Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance and the Supplementary Schedule of State Financial Assistance for the years ending June 30, 2025, June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2027 with options for the years ending June 30, 2028 and June 30, 2029.

Proposals shall be submitted to Lori Hammill, Chief Compliance Officer, Norwalk Transit District, 275 Wilson Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854, on or before 2:00 p.m. EST, Friday, January 17, 2025. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned to the Proposer unopened.

Any contract resulting from this request for proposals is subject in part to a financial assistance contract between the Agency and the Federal Transit Administration and the Connecticut Department of Transportation. All Respondents will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Further, the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
