The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority ("SFRTA") operates Tri-Rail, a commuter rail line operating over a 72-mile corridor linking Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. We are looking to fill the following five (5) newly created positions in the following departments: Planning, Information Technology, Operations, Maintenance-of-Way (MOW) and Contracts & Procurement.
TRANSPORTATION PLANNING MANAGER - $80,069 - $128,954
The Transportation Planning Manager leads the authority’s efforts in mass transit and/or transportation planning; and develops, tracks and manages the SFRTA’s capital improvement projects. The position works cooperatively with internal and external partners to achieve agency goals and supervises both in-house staff and consultants.
NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR, DISPATCH - $72,790 - $117,231
The Network Administrator, Dispatch will work as part of a team to manage and maintain all parts of the SFRTA's Information Technology (IT) systems across different locations, handle network and systems administration tasks, including support, troubleshooting, security, and planning for future expansion. You will also ensure the security, performance, and availability of technology resources and oversee the network and telecommunications environment to ensure smooth operation and assist users.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - $66,173 - $106,574

This role involves coordinating with various internal departments, external agencies, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. The Project Coordinator, Rail will also be responsible for managing contracts, monitoring project progress, and maintain comprehensive project records.
