Nature of WorkThe Transit Operations Manager is a professional position responsible for the management, planning and administrative oversight of public transit and facilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting short-term and long range service planning and improvements to the transit program; overseeing transit operations, grants programs, and budget preparation; supervising the employees; representing the department with various groups, agencies, and public stakeholders; coordinating and supervising the work on various planning projects; and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, program and plan requirements.
Starting salary will be $87,327 to $102,738 depending on qualifications, with advancement to $128,421.
