Overview
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and for the oversight of drivers and transportation providers.

This is for proposed business and all offers are contingent upon Transdev's award of the contract.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of the vehicles.

  • Manage the network size to meet the needs of NEMT Members.

  • Work with Transportation Providers and the Customer Service Manager to resolve all Transportation Provider-related safety and service concerns.

  • Ensure trips are assigned and completed by eligible Transportation Providers.

  • Conduct investigations, both formal and root cause, to correct and modify behavior where necessary.

  • Responsible for ensuring employees’ compliance with all safety rules, procedures and company policies.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required:
  • At least three (3) years’ professional experience in private or public transportation, preferably with experience in an NEMT or NMT program.

  • At least one (1) year of professional experience coordinating services with Transportation Providers.

  • Experience with state and federal regulations related to transportation.


Education, Licensing, and Certifications Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework preferred; high school diploma or GED required.


Pre-Employment Requirements:
  • Must submit to drug testing and a background check.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time during work day, doing majority of work using a computer and viewing computer monitor

  • Occasionally required to work in outdoor settings for vehicle inspections and site visits/field work
