Contractor shall perform work in keeping with the standards of the Texas Surveyors’ Association Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas, Categories 1-9, latest edition, the American Land Title Association and The Professional Land Surveying Practices Act and General Rules of Procedures and Practices.

All professional surveying services must be performed in compliance with the Texas Surveyors’ Association Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in Texas, latest edition, the American Land Title Association and The Professional Land Surveying Practices Act and General Rules of Procedures and Practices.

The Contractor must maintain current insurance required by this Contract, including Railroad Protective Insurance if required by any Task Order for work in the railroad right-of-way.

The Contractor must obtain Railroad Worker Protection training for its assigned employees when working on the CapMetro railroad ROW. Anyone working within the ROW must follow all CapMetro safety requirements, complete the CapMetro Roadway Worker Certification and maintain a valid certification card in their possession while working. Further, the Contractor must arrange for and include in its cost of work the charge for an RWIC (Roadway Worker-In-Charge) from the CapMetro railroad operator during the times his employees are within the railroad protective zone, if not previously provided by CapMetro. A qualified "Roadway Worker-In-Charge” (RWIC) must be present during any work that has the potential of entering the “foul zone” (25 feet from the center of the nearest track). RWICs are coordinated by CapMetro's Rail Operations Department.

The Contractor shall maintain an effective quality control system for all services provided in this Contract. The Contractor shall provide necessary staffing, policies and procedures required to identify, document and correct quality defects and deficiencies.
