CapMetro requires services for the following:

• Transit bus paint and body repair.

• Bus body panels painting.

• Campaigns.

• Custom fabrication.

The services listed above are further defined in scope found on PlanetBids. The services would be applied to CapMetro’s mass transit bus fleet which consists of approximately four hundred-forty (440) vehicles of various vehicle manufacturers, vehicle lengths, axle configurations, and year models (see attachment B.) CapMetro’s fleet of mass transit bus lengths range from 30 to 60-feet in length. Transit bus manufacturers include Gillig, New Flyer, MCI, Nova, Proterra, and International Cut-away chassis. The fleet may include other manufacturers in the future. The services required include but are not limited to routine paint/body work, non-routine paint/body work (accident repair) activities, pick-up and delivery of vehicles, minor/major accident repairs, decal removal/installation, painting of body panels, glass removal and installation, vehicle destruction (requiring detailed and specific destruction processes and documentation), campaigns (bus wraps, resealing roof top, etc.,), and custom/special fabrication work.
