Summary

The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for identifying and establishing strategic partnerships for the deployment of system-wide planning in the context of regional transportation planning and economic development; including the development of partnerships to encourage the achievement of sustainable and mutually beneficial working partnerships with private developers and corporations, member and non-member cities, metropolitan planning organizations, as well as other local, state and regional agencies in the development of such planning. The incumbent performs under the supervision of the Vice President of Planning & Development represents the Agency within local communities, regional meetings and industry-wide events to meet agency interests, needs and objectives and will lead special projects, as assigned.

Education • Bachelor’s Degree in business, public administration, planning or similar field • Master’s Degree, preferred

Experience • Minimum seven years experience in government, nonprofit, public affairs or in similar operating environment • Two years of supervisory experience • Good communication skills, both verbally and written. • Experience in intergovernmental affairs, transportation or municipal experience highly preferred.
