MV Transportation is seeking a Maintenance Quality Assurance Inspector for the Quality Assurance program of local operations in compliance with State and Federal regulations and corporate and client policies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Ensure all maintenance personnel comply with maintenance policies and procedures. •Oversee and maintain procedures to ensure completion of required inspections when tasks are worked over multiple shifts and personnel. •Ensure incoming parts, supplies and articles receive an incoming inspection to ensure OEM parts and recommend materials are used. •Ensure compliance with procedures for preliminary inspections, hidden damage inspections, inspection continuity and final inspection for items repaired by maintenance personnel or subcontractors. •Responsible for oversight of maintenance personnel training requirements. •Performs sign off inspections on all safety system repairs and major rebuilds.

Talent Requirements:

•High School diploma or equivalent required; ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of transit Industry experience. •Microsoft Office experience, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Outlook. •Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management Software knowledge is a plus! •Able to work in a fast-paced environment. •Excellent communication and problem solving skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Self-starter who needs minimal supervision. •Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail and accuracy. •Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
