The Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA), operator of the METROLINK commuter rail system, is seeking two qualified candidates for the position of Railroad Civil Engineer II. These positions perform project engineering duties supporting railroad project design and construction. The engineers will be assigned to the Design & Engineering Group or the Track, Structures, & Stations Group. Railroad projects will be on active rail lines and may include track, structures, tunnels, bridges, stations, and associated civil engineering work. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of civil or design engineering experience, familiarity with multidisciplinary railroad projects, and strong written and communications skills. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Professional Engineer's license preferred, and five years of engineering experience.
