Maruti Fleet and Management is recruiting for an Operations Manager for its location in Okaloosa, Fla.

Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and audit of operational data such as manifests, fuel data, and expenses

  • Answers telephone(s) throughout the day to help out with dispatch operations

  • Addresses and manages employee issues that entail their work performance

  • Devises and implements new plans and/or creative ideas to better the office

  • liaison between Terminal customers and patrons on a regular basis

  • Ad-hoc operational decision making due in part by:

    • Add-on routes

    • Ensuring forty (40) hour employee work weeks; Overtime < 1 Hour

    • Hiring and termination of employees

  • Assists with customer service calls regarding complaints and/or concerns

  • Relieves AM Dispatcher as necessary and closes office at the end of each work day

  • Makes necessary judgments related to incidents and/or accidents

  • Oversees productivity of Road Supervisor, Dispatcher, & Drivers

  • Scrutinizing and billing of daily trip logs

  • Conduct disciplinary and performance review of employees

  • Maintains compliance of employee files

  • Interviews new applicants

  • Quality Assurance


Pre-Requisites:

  • Educational and/or work related experience in the transportation industry highly desired

  • Minimum of Three (3) year operations supervisory experience

  • Working Knowledge of Trapeze /Scheduling Software

    • Exploit analytic approaches to adjudicate the best outcome for the operation

    • Utilize a logistical & systematic approach to successfully manage daily routes

    • Exercise organizational structure & behavior to comply with company policies
