Arlington County seeks proposals to operate and maintain Arlington Transit (ART) service.
Sealed proposals will be received in hand in the Office of the Arlington County Purchasing Agent, in Suite 500, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201, until 3:00 p.m. on the 11th day of March, 2009 for:
PROVISION OF OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT, FUELING, AND MAINTENANCE (UTILIZING COUNTY OWNED VEHICLES, FUEL AND TIRES) OF FIXED-ROUTE GENERAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IN ARLINGTON COUNTY, AND THE CITY OF FALLS CHURCH.
A preproposal conference will be held at 10:30 a.m., February 17, 2009 at 2100 Clarendon Boulevard., Suite 913, Arlington, Virginia 22201 to allow potential offerors an opportunity to obtain clarification of the specifications and requirements of the work.
Buses will be available for viewing at the ART House, 2910 Jefferson Davis Highway, on President's Day, Monday, February 16, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The ART House lot entrance is on S. Eads Street between S. 32nd Street and S. Glebe Rd. near Crystal City. Metered parking is available on the street.
