FOR THE ROSA PARKS TRANSIT CENTER

The City of Detroit, Department of Transportation (DDOT) requests sealed proposals for Transit Advertising and Related Services. Sealed proposals must be received by the Detroit Department of Transportation, Purchasing/Contract Administration Division, 1301 E. Warren Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207 on or before 3:00 p.m. (EST) July 15, 2009. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS. A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (EST) on June 25, 2009 at DDOT’s Administration Building, 1301 E. Warren Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207.

Proposals are to be submitted in accordance with the DDOT Request for Proposals (RFP) dated June 15, 2009, which includes a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 25%. Proposals received after 3:00 p.m. July 15, 2009 will be returned to the sender unopened. No proposal, once submitted, may be withdrawn for 120 days after the due date.

The successful proposer will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and U.S. Department of Transportation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise regulations as outlined in the RFP.

The City of Detroit Department of Transportation reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, at its discretion, subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the City of Detroit, the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration. Firms or individuals whose names appear on the U.S. Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors will not be considered.
